Situation
Schools across Buenos Aires manage enrolment, student progression, transfers, attendance and report cards — processes that decide a student's academic record and had been living across disconnected systems and paper.
Task
Work as a full-stack developer on the platform that runs those processes, across both the interface and the data model underneath it.
Action
- Built student enrolment and registration
- Implemented student progression between academic years
- Built school transfers, moving a student's record between institutions
- Implemented attendance tracking
- Built automated PDF report card generation
- Designed and evolved the database architecture
- Worked across the React and TypeScript frontend and the Node.js backend
